TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SALE

1. About Us

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern the purchase of tickets and attendance at events organised by Brewing Minds UG (haftungsbeschränkt) ("Brewing Minds", "we", "us", "our"), Prinz-Eugen-Straße 16, 13347 Berlin, Germany. Registered at Amtsgericht Charlottenburg, HRB 285711 B, Umsatzsteuer-Identifikationsnummer (USt-IdNr.): DE462549429.

By purchasing a ticket you agree to these Terms.

2. Ticket Purchase and Contract

Your purchase is complete when you receive a booking confirmation by email. This confirmation constitutes a binding contract between you and Brewing Minds.

All ticket prices are displayed in EUR and are inclusive of 19% VAT (Umsatzsteuer) in accordance with §1 PAngV. A formal VAT invoice can be requested at team@brewing-minds.com.

Tickets are personal and non-transferable unless we confirm otherwise in writing.

3. No Statutory Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with §312g Abs. 2 Nr. 9 BGB (German Civil Code), there is no statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for contracts relating to leisure activities tied to a specific date. This applies to all Brewing Minds ticket purchases.

4. Our Cancellation and Refund Policy

Despite the above, we voluntarily offer the following:

  • You may request a full refund up to 24 hours before the event start time by emailing team@brewing-minds.com.
  • Refund requests received within 24 hours of the event will not be accepted and the ticket price will not be refunded.
  • Refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 14 days.


5. Cancellation or Changes by Brewing Minds

If we cancel an event entirely, all ticket holders will receive a full refund of the ticket price.

If we change the speaker, you are entitled to a full refund regardless of when the change is announced.

If we change the venue, the standard 24-hour refund policy in Section 4 applies.

In all cases we will notify you by email as soon as possible. We are not liable for any travel, accommodation, or other costs you may have incurred in connection with the event.

6. Photography and Video Recording

Brewing Minds events may be photographed and filmed for marketing and social media purposes. By attending, you acknowledge that you may appear in such material.

If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please inform a member of our team upon arrival. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request.

This processing is based on our legitimate interest in documenting and promoting our events (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). For more information, see our Privacy Policy at brewing-minds.com/privacy-policy.

7. Conduct at Events

We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any attendee whose behaviour is disruptive, offensive, or endangers other attendees or staff. No refund will be issued in such cases.

8. Liability

Our liability is limited to intent (Vorsatz) and gross negligence (grobe Fahrlässigkeit). Liability for slight negligence is excluded, except in cases of injury to life, body, or health.

We are not responsible for the content of speaker presentations. Opinions expressed by speakers at our events are their own and do not represent the views of Brewing Minds.

9. Venue

Events take place at third-party venues. The venue's own house rules apply during your attendance. Brewing Minds is not responsible for the venue's facilities, services, or conduct of venue staff.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by German law. The place of jurisdiction for merchants is Berlin. For consumers, mandatory statutory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence apply.

11. Consumer Dispute Resolution

The European Commission provides an online dispute resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr

We are neither willing nor obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase. The current version is always available at brewing-minds.com/terms.
