We often think about brain health only when something goes wrong. But what if protecting your brain started decades before the first signs of decline?

From memory and attention to decision-making and emotional wellbeing, our brains are constantly shaped by the choices we make and the environments we live in. Today, researchers are discovering how lifestyle, technology, and artificial intelligence can help us understand our brains better than ever before—and even detect problems before symptoms appear.

In this talk, we'll explore the science behind lifelong brain health, what really influences cognitive ageing, and how new research is changing the way we approach prevention. You'll leave with a new perspective on how your brain evolves throughout life, why prevention matters, and how each of us can play a role in building a healthier future for our minds.

What you'll discover

  • Why brain health begins long before old age.
  • Which everyday habits have the biggest impact on cognitive resilience.
  • How artificial intelligence and digital health are helping detect cognitive decline earlier than ever.
  • What scientists are learning about personalised strategies to keep our brains healthier for longer.
  • How anyone can contribute to brain research and help shape the future of brain health.
