⏱️Schedule:  Doors 18:30 → Talk 19:00→ Q&A → Mingle
🌐Language: English

Most of us were never actually taught how to handle money. We learn it by trial and error — a budgeting app here, a "should I be investing?" panic there — often well into our adult lives. This talk starts from zero and builds up, one clear step at a time.

You'll walk through the fundamentals: how to actually look at your own income and expenses, how to structure your finances so they make sense, and the tools that can automate most of it. From there, you'll break down the real difference between saving and investing — not as abstract concepts, but as decisions tied to your own priorities. And by the end, the audience will have a working understanding of stocks, ETFs, and funds — what they are, why diversification matters, and how to think about risk tolerance.

This is education, not financial advice — a foundation to build on, whatever people decide to do with it next.

What we'll cover

  • How to read your own finances — a simple income-and-expense check and a structure that makes your money make sense, plus the apps that do the heavy lifting.
  • Saving vs. investing: when each makes sense, the principles behind growing wealth, and how to turn your personal priorities into a strategy.
  • Investing demystified — stocks, ETFs and funds explained, why diversification matters, and how to gauge your own risk tolerance.
  • A guided look at what a simple, diversified starter portfolio actually looks like.
  • Honest answers to the money questions people are often too shy to ask — with all slides and resources shared afterward.
